The Tickets For Schools scheme fronted by Coventry City supporter Pat Abel as a way of encouraging more children into the Ricoh Arena for Sky Blues home game is to spread its wings even further.

The scheme has already seen more than 120 Coventry schools visited and over 14,000 tickets bought for children and parents in the CT Stand for home games.

The scheme has moved into Rugby, Nuneaton and Bedworth and over 2,200.

Pat and her team will next visit schools in Kenilworth and Leek Wooton and speaking to the CT:,she said:"I decided to try and do something to encourage the youngsters in the region to support their local football club rather than being lured towards other clubs.

"We believe the scheme is unique snd it seems very popular with Headteachers, pupils and parents."
