City Look For First Win At Preston

Saturday will see the 36th league and cup game between Preston North End and Coventry City.

City have won ten of those games including the 3-2 JPT Northern Area Semi-Final victory, and drawn eleven.

The last time, City played at Deepdale was for a Championship match in March 2011, City were beaten 2-1 in second half stoppage time. Iain Hume had the Lillywhites ahead in the 23rd minute but in the 70th minute, City were level through David Bell. However, in the fourth minute of stoppage time, Nathan Ellington scored to give Preston a 2-1 win in front of a crowd of 12,269.

City have only ever won once at Deepdale and that was a 3-1 victory in a League Cup tie in September 2000 which City won 7-2 on aggregate.

City's heaviest defeat at Deepdale is a 4-0 loss in April 2002.
