City legend Shaw interested in managing Coventry City

It as emerged that former Coventry City defender Richard Shaw is interested in becoming the next Sky Blues manager following the sacking of manager Aidy Boothroyd yesterday.

The 42 year old Shaw joined Coventry City in 1995 and left in 2006, after playing a total of 317 games. He  then joined Millwall where he is currently assistant to Lions boss Kenny Jacket. Shaw was briefly caretaker manager at Millwall in 2007 after they sacked Willie Donachie and before Jacket was appointed as their new manager.
