Coventry City Ladies kicked off their FA WPL Southern League campaign with a 2-0 victory over Lewes.
At the Ricoh Arena, Craig Nicholls side took a 68th minute lead when Helen Dermody brought the ball down on her chest and volleyed home and this was followed by Welsh international Hayley Ladd making a superb run and squaring for Destiney Toussaint to tap in.
