As expected, Coventry City's Ladies WPL Premier Division home game against Aston Villa Ladies has been postponed.
The game was called off due to a waterlogged pitch at Bedworth United FC and is the sixth time this season that a City V Villa game has been postponed.
City officials had made every effort to get the game played, sounding out the likes of Warwick University, Cov University, Coventry Copsewood and Coventry Sphinx before the club were given the no go. Rugby Town and the Ricoh Arena are unable for use as their pitches have been dug up.
No new date has been set for the game to be played but the side are due to meet on Sunday at 6pm in the Birmingham County FA Cup at Ray Hall Lane.
