Coventry City Ladies were beaten by a late goal in a WPL League Cup Semi-Final at Cardiff City
At the International Stadium in Cardiff with a place in the final at Burton Albion on May 4th at stake, the first half was tight with the Sky Blues having the better of the chances.with the home keeper saving to deny Helen Dermody and Maria Gauntlett.
City had one kicked off the line in the 80th minute, Gauntlett hit the crossbar and Lynch hit the post but deep into stoppage, Cardiff were allowed a free header from two yards out and the South Wales side were in the final.
