The 20 year old has been watched by Andy Thorn and Chris Coleman and the Sky Blues may try to bring him in on loan as early as the weekend.
Hussey is a full back who started with Woking and if he were to impress, could be offered a permanent move to Coventry in January when the transfer window reopens.
