City In To The Bottom Four

Coventry City have dropped into the bottom four after their 2-1 home defeat to Notts County today.

City have eleven points from thirteen games and are a point ahead of Scunthorpe United who drew 1-1 at sixth placed Swindon Town, four points ahead of Hartlepool United who lost 1-0 at home to fourth placed Crawley and six ahead of bottom side Bury who lost 2-1 at Yeovil.

The Sky Blues are two points behind Shrewsbury Town who lost 3-1 at Portsmouth and three behind Crewe who drew 2-2 at Walsall and AFC Bournemouth who beat leaders Tranmere Rovers 3-1.

Ronnie Moore's side are still four points clear at the top ahead of Stevenage who won 1-0 at MK Dons.

Third placed Sheffield United won 1-0 at Preston.

Other results saw Colchester beat Carlisle 2-0, Doncaster beat Brentford 2-1 and Oldham beat Leyton Orient 2-0.
