Coventry City have been placed in the Northern Section East Group for the opening round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
City will play one of Burton Albion, Chesterfield, Notts County, Oldham Athletic, Rotherham United, Scunthorpe United or York City in the opening round which will be drawn on Saturday, August 18, during Sky Sports' 'Soccer AM' programme at around 9.30am.
City's first Round game is expected to be on Tuesday September 4th.
