Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he is looking for a new goalkeeper.

With Ryan Allsop having gone back to AFC Bournemouth, Pressley who has Lee Burge and Reice Charles-Cook available, is looking for a new keeper and told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: "We need to bring in another goalkeeper but there’s not a great deal out there that are absolutely ready to go, so it’s not a perfect scenario.

“We’ve been mulling over a couple of things but hadn’t had an outcome on it so it was a difficult situation with Ryan Allsop

“We never ruled out the possibility that he would return but the way he’s been talking it was in his best interests that he went back to Bournemouth.

“It’s something I have said I will speak to him about later this week when we’ll know more where we are ourselves because we’re down to the bare bones and we definitely need to bring in an additional goalkeeper.

“We said we’d let the situation settle and have a conversation once he’d returned to his parent club to see where he feels he’s at.

“There’s still an agreement between the two clubs that can be triggered if the circumstances were right for both parties, so there is an outside chance of him coming back but it’s probably the most unlikely scenario.”
