Coventry City Football Club have been given more time to pay the rent that they owe Arena Coventry Limited.

The club were not represented at the High Court in Birmingham, to hear demands for payment over £600,000 brought against them.

The club have been told by the court to top up the Escrow Account so that ACL can cover its invoices to the tune of £500,000.

However, lawyers for ACL believe they have no chance of seeing the money.
