£8.8m was spent on agents fees by the 72 Football League clubs between July 08 and June 09. That was for 3,727 player transactions, 1227 of which involved Championship clubs.
£250,000 of City's pay out was for the first half of the season with only £30k spent on fees from January 09 to June 09. A figure less than most of the division.
