City Fifth Visit To Scunthorpe For A Competitive Match

Tuesday night’s game at Glanford Park will be the ninth competitive meeting between Scunthorpe United and Coventry City.

Of the four matches played at Scunthorpe, City have won two and lost two, scoring five goals compared to the Irons four.

The last time City played at Glanford Park on was March 9th 2013 and the Sky Blues won 2-1 under Steven Pressley. Akpo Sodje had given Scunthorpe a seventh minute lead but Carl Baker levelled in the 44th minute and Leon Clarke headed in a winner in the 76th minute against his former club.

In the other matches played at Glanford Park, City lost 2-1 on March 1st 2008, Lost 1-0 on December 6th 2009 but won 2-0 on November 27th 2010.
