There are a number of unconfirmed rumours going round social media, following the revealing that Coventry City and ACL are to close a number of rows in front of the scoreboard , that the damage caused to the scoreboard at the Ricoh Arena was caused by fans urinating under and around the scoreboard.
These comments also claim that a bucket containing sand now was more full of urine than sand due to fans not being bothered to go down to the toilets on the concourse whilst others were urinating under the scoreboard, which then seeped towards the back rows of seats.
A number of rows have been shut as a result, starting with the game against Walsall next Saturday.
