An eighteen year old Coventry City fan will appear in court in Chesterfield next month, following the pitch invasion.during Coventry City's 1-1 draw at the Proact Stadium.
The City fan was arrested and has been charged to appear at Northern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court in Chesterfield on January 22nd.
Police claimed that 100 City supporters got a bit too over exuberent and came onto the pitch to celebrate after James Maddison levelled with a free kick in the 88th minute.and the Sky Blues have today issued a statement, urging City supporters to stay off the pitch.
