Coventry City have failed in their quest to sign a right back.

The club are desperately short of cover with the news that stand in right back Isaac Osbourne will be out for three months.

The Birmingham born player has ankle ligament damage and is to see a specialist in London on Monday, who will operate on the injury.

Stephen Wright is also out for a month after jarring his knee against Swnasea City on Tuesday night.

City boss Chris Coleman scoured the market for a right back but admitted defeat by the time the loan transfer window deadline closed.

"We spent 48 hours trying to get someone in but it proved to be very difficult," said Coleman to the CT.
