According to the BBC, Arena Coventry Limited are taking legal action against Coventry City Football Club over rent arrears for their use of the Ricoh Arena.
City owners SISU have not made any payments of the £100k a month rent, which was agreed by Paul Fletcher, for the last few months, in a bid to get a reduction, and the money has had to be taken from an Escrow account which now appears to be empty.
Covsupport News Service understands that a representative of the Ricoh Arena and an Oriental representative of SISU were sat next to each other at the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony in London, but even this appears not to have resolved the issue amicably.
