City end losing streak

Coventry City's 1-0 win at Blackpool has lifted them a place in League 1 to seventh, on 55 points, 3 points outside the playoff places.

Bradford won 2-1 at home to Doncaster to stay three points ahead of City. Burton remain top with a 2-1 win home win against Fleetwood, now managed by by former City boss Stephen Pressley.

Wigan could only manage a 3-3 draw away to bottom placed Colchester, but stay in second place on 65 points.

Walsall had a 4-1 away win at Chesterfield to strengthen their grip in the playoffs. Millwall drew 2-2 at Swindon, but stayi in the playoff zone.

Gillingham had a solid 3-0 home win over Crewe, who remain in deep trouble one off the bottom place on 30 points.

Elswhere, Shrewsbury and Scunthorpe drew 2-2, Sheffield United won 3-0 at home to Oldham and Rochdale won bythe same scoreline at home to Bury.

Barnsley went down 2-0 at home to Southend and Peterborough lost 3-2 at home to Port Vale.
