City Eighteenth In League One

Coventry City are eighteenth in the League One table after Saturday's round of matches.

City are four points clear from the fourth bottom side Gillingham, who they travel to a week today, after the Gills lost 3-1 at Crewe who moved up to 19th with the win.

Steven Pressley's side are five points clear of Colchester United who won 2-0 at Peterborough United, five points clear of Crawley who drew 2-2 with MK Dons and nine points clear of bottom side Yeovil Town who lost 2-0 at Barnsley.

The Sky Blues are five points behind sixth placed Sheffield United who beat fourth placed Preston North End 2-1, six points behind fifth placed Bradford City who were beaten 2-1 at home by Rochdale.

Bristol City are back top of the table after a 4-0 home win against Notts County and they led Swindon by three points and a goal difference of plus two.

Elsewhere, Chesterfield beat Port Vale 3-0, Fleetwood Town won 1-0 at Leyton Orient, Oldham drew 2-2 with Doncaster and Scunthorpe won 4-1 at Walsall.
