City Drop Two Places

Coventry City dropped to 12th in the League One after their 3-0 defeat to Notts County.

City are now 12 points off the sixth play-off place, held by Peterborough United who won 2-1 at Leyton Orient who missed a chance to go back top after leader's Brentford and second placed Wolves' games were postponed.

MK Dons went above City in the table with a 3-0 win at Walsall and Gillingham who won 2-1 at Carlisle.

Steven Pressley's side are eight points clear of fourth from bottom Sheffield United who beat second from bottom Shrewsbury Town 2-0 at home.

Third from bottom Bristol City drew 1-1 at Oldham, with Bradford City, who are Coventry City's next opponents held to a 3-3 draw by Crewe, Swindon won 3-2 at Port Vale and Preston won 2-1 at Tranmere Rovers.
