City Drop To Fourteenth After Preston Defeat

Coventry City are down to fourteenth in the League One table after their 2-0 defeat to Preston North End.

The Sky Blues, who have twelve points from ten games, are twelve points behind leaders Bristol City who beat MK Dons, who dropped to fourth, 3-2 at Ashton Gate.

The Robins are five points clear of Peterborough United who moved up to second with a 1-0 home win over Fleetwood Town.

Swindon Town are up to third with a 3-0 win at fourth from bottom Barnsley with Rochdale who won 3-2 at Leyton Orient in fifth and Preston in sixth.

Bottom side Crewe were beaten 3-0 at home by Colchester United and are on the bottom with four points, three less than Scunthorpe who were beaten 3-2 at Oldham Athletic. Third from bottom Port Vale drew 1-1 at Bradford City.

Elsewhere, Chesterfield drew 1-1 with Notts County, Crawley beat Yeovil Town 2-0, Sheffield United beat Gillingham 2-1 and Walsall beat Doncaster 3-0.
