City Drop To Eighth

Coventry City are down to eighth in the League One table after their 2-1 defeat at Scunthorpe United.

City are eight points behind leaders Bristol City won 3-0 at Port Vale, four behind second placed Peterborough United who lost 2-1 at Gillingham and a point behind MK Dons who were beaten 2-1 at home by fifth placed Bradford City and sixth placed Sheffield United who won 3-2 at Colchester United.

Steven Pressley's side are on the same points as Swindon Town who drew 2-2 with Oldham Athletic at the County Ground.

Crewe remain bottom of the table but took a 1-1 draw from their midweek hike to Yeovil, Port Vale are second bottom, followed by Port Vale and Scunthorpe.

Elsewhere, Doncaster Rovers drew 0-0 with Crawley, Notts County drew 1-1 with Leyton Orient, Preston drew 0-0 with Chesterfield and Saturday's opponents Rochdale beat Walsall 4-0 at Spotland.
