City Drop To 22nd

Coventry City dropped to 22nd in the League One table after Saturday's results.

Steven Pressley's side can go up to sixteenth if they beat Brentford at Sixfields tomorrow and they dropped into the bottom four due to Bristol City's 1-1 draw with Colchester United and Gillingham's 3-0 win at Crewe which included a goal for former Sky Blue Cody McDonald in the 39th minute.

Talking of former Sky Blues', former City defender Robert Page had a win in his first game as temporary manager of Port Vale, standing in for Micky Adams who has had a hip operation. Vale's 1-0 win at Tranmere sent the Wirral based club into the bottom four of the table.

League One leaders Leyton Orient's run on consecutive unbeaten games is over after they drew 1-1 with Walsall. The O's are three points ahead of Peterborough who won 1-0 at Rotherham.

Wolves are up to third after a 2-0 win over bottom side Sheffield United with Preston fourth after beating Swindon 2-1.

Bradford City, who had a crowd of over 14,000 for their 2-1 win over Shrewsbury, are fifth two points ahead of MK Dons who beat Stevenage 4-1.

Other results saw Carlsle United beat Notts County 2-1 and Crawley beat Oldham 1-0,
