Coventry City are down to nineteenth in the League One table.

The 2-0 defeat at Doncaster Rovers means City are just three points clear of fourth from bottom Crawley Town who lost 4-1 at Leyton Orient, three points clear of Crewe who won 2-1 at Oldham and five points clear of Colchester who lost 2-1 at home to Gillingham and five points ahead of bottom side Yeovil Town who lost 2-1 at Bristol City.

Bristol City lead the division from MK Dons who won 1-0 at Notts County, Swindon who won 4-1 at Walsall, Preston who beat Barnsley 1-0 , Bradford City who won 2-0 at Fleetwood, and Sheffield United who lost 2-1 at Port Vale.

Elsewhere, Chesterfield beat Peterborough 3-2 and Scunthorpe beat Rochdale 2-1.
