City Down To Nine Points From Safety

Coventry City are now nine points away from League One safety.

The Sky Blues 2-1 win over Gillingham sees City two points behind Chesterfield who lost 2-1 at home to Bury who are fifth from bottom with 34 points.

Swindon Town, who visit the Ricoh Arena next Saturday, are in 22nd with place with 30 points after a 0-0 draw with Oldham who are 18th.

Port Vale are in the bottom four after a 1-1 home draw with Bristol Rovers and like Bury, they have 34 points.

The top two in the table met at Brammal Lane in a game which saw leaders Sheffield United draw 1-1 with second placed Scunthorpe.

A 2-2 draw at fifth place Bradford City keeps Bolton third with Fleetwood who won 1-0 at MK Dons in fourth.

Southend are in the top six after a 2-2 draw with Northampton Town.

Elsewhere, eighth placed Rochdale drew 3-3 with Charlton, Shrewsbury beat AFC Wimbledon 2-1 and Walsall beat Peterborough United 2-0.

League One side Millwall pulled off a shock beating Premier League Leicester City in the FA Cup Fifth Round. Cummings got the goal for ten man Millwall in the 90th minute.

League One side Oxford United lost 3-2 at Middlesbrough.
