City Down To 19th

Coventry City have dropped to 19th in the Championship table.

West Brom continue to lead the table after coming back to draw 3-3 at home to Cardiff City.

Former Sky Blue Callum Davenport made his Watford debut but was taken to hospital in the first half of the 1-1 draw with Charlton following a collision. The defender reported hearing a click in his neck to the physio and was sent to nearby Watford General Hospital for tests.

Third place Bristol City lost 2-0 to form team Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. The Eagles have been rejuventated under Neil Warnock and are now up to fifth.

City are only five points ahead of third from bottom Preston who lost 3-1 at Stoke City. Second from bottom Scunthorpe lost 2-0 at home to Wolves.

Sheffield Wednesday eased their relegation worries with a 2-0 win over neighbours Sheffield United.

Elsewhere in the division,Leicester City drew 0-0 with Norwich, Claus Jorgensen scored for Blackpool in a 1-1 draw with Ipswich, QPR beat Barnsley 2-0 and Plymouth drew 1-1 with Southampton.

Robbie Keane scored his 100th goal for Spurs in a 2-0 win over Sunderland. Kevin Keegan's first game back in charge of Newcastle United produced only a 0-0 draw with Bolton and The Geordies not even managing a shot.

City's next opponents, Millwall were beaten 1-0 at home by Tranmere and are now in the relegation zone.

Locally, Nuneaton Borough drew 1-1 at Boston, Stepien put Kevin Wilkins side ahead with twelve minutes to go but the side who played in the Football League last season, equalised through Thompson right at the death.

Leamington Hibernian drew 1-1 at Thimblemill Rec with all other games postponed.
