Coventry City are in 12th place after the 1-1 home draw with Scunthorpe United.

Championship leaders Watford were beaten 2-1 at home by Burnley whilst third place Chalrton lost 3-0 at home to Sheffield United who come to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.

Ipswich are fourth after a 2-0 home win against Southampton but fifth placed Bristol City drew 0-0 at Hull City.

Bottom side Norwich won 3-1 at Blackpool with a brace from Dion Dublin whilst Sheffield Wednesday beat Barnsley and Palace beat Preston.

Locally, Leamington went back top of the Southern League Midland Division with a 4-0 home win over Woodford United. Josh Blake, Russel Dunkley (2) and Aaron Parkinson were the scorers for the Brakes.

Atherstone are out of the Birmingham Senior Cup second round after a 5-0 defeat at Burton Albion.

Coventry Copsewood lost 4-3 at home to Highgate United tonight. Chris Heal scored twice with Tom Muldoon also on the scoresheet for Scott Furlong's side.
