A Coventry City Councillor has been slammed on Twitter by Coventry City supporters after tweeting saying that selling the Ricoh Arena to Wasps was one of the best things that ousted Council Leader Ann Lucas did.
Councillor Kevin Maton tweeted: "Looking forward to Wasps v London Irish. Good atmosphere at Ricoh after an 'interesting' Friday evening. One of the best decisions by Ann L."
Some of the replies slamming the Councillor included Keiran Crowley who tweeted: "Built for #CCFC. You should be ashamed of yourselves yet you celebrate trying to kill your local football club.
