City Checked Out Hinckley

So, it has been revealed that Coventry City have spoken to Hinckley United about possibly using their Greene King Stadium if they cannot strike a deal with Arena Coventry Limited over the Ricoh Arena.

The chats, however, appear to be nothing more than friendly discussions as the Greene King Stadium, which is preferred by many to Nuneaton Town's Liberty Way as a stadium, is not up to the standards required to stage Football League matches.

It is however, fine to stage U21 matches which is already does with Aston Villa playing there and pre-season City games which have been a regular feature of a number of pre-seasons and from these talks, it looks like these will continue.
