Coventry City are chasing three players before the transfer window closes at 11pm this evening.

With West Bromwich Albion looking likely to take former City loanee Jacob Murphy on loan, the Baggies could be letting Kyle Edwards join the Sky Blues on loan.

Many of you will have seen Edwards play in the flesh as he played for and scored in Exeter City's League Two Play-Off Final defeat at Wembley back in May.

He also played for Wet Bromwich Albion's U21's in a Checkatrade Trophy game at the Ricoh Arena, whilst others may have seen him play against Coventry Sphinx in a Birmingham Senior Cup tie in September 2017.

City are also looking to bring in Cork born David Meyler. The former Sunderland and Hull City midfielder is out of favour at Reading, along with former City striker Marc McNulty.

A move for Meyler could be permanent and it could be a permanent move for Charlie Wakefield, who has been told he can find a new club by Chelsea.  .

The 20 year old, played for Adi Vivash at Chelsea U21's and has been with The Blues since he was twelve years old.
