Coventry City Chairman Ray Ranson has been talking about Keiren Westwood and Danny Fox being selected for the PFA Championship Team Of The Year.

"I am delighted for everyone at the club - especially Keiren and Danny. Individually, they have had very good seasons and highlight exactly what we are trying to achieve as a club," said Mr Ranson to the club website.

"It's also testament to Chris Coleman and his coaching staff for the way they have brought the players on this season.

"Danny came to us from Walsall last year and settled immediately. He has improved further this season and has added goals to his game too.

"When we signed Keiren, Chris Coleman said he was the best keeper outside the Premier League and that statement raised a few eyebrows but he has been proved right. He has had a tremendous season and this backs up exactly what we thought about him when we brought him in.

"This is a great first for the club and we always knew that challenging the top teams in this division was not going to be a quick fix.

"I believe this shows that we are taking a step in the right direction and with further additions in the summer we believe we can make further improvements next season.

"Hopefully our supporters will see through what has happened in the last few weeks - the team has been ravaged by injuries - and come along and get their season tickets for next year."
