City Boss Unhappy With Referee

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman, like the City support was less than happy with referee Mark Haywood after City's 1-1 draw with Swansea tonight.

"We maybe got a free-kick that wasn't a free-kick, but I know for a fact theirs wasn't a free-kick," said Coleman to the media after the game.

"It was a bizarre decision and the referee is just 10 yards away with a clear look at it. I was disappointed with that, but the boy scored a good goal - it was a great free-kick.

"Maybe the referee evens it up by giving us one at the other end but that is not the way to do it.

"Then, Clinton Morrison puts the ball in the net and is given offside. He is offside when he collects the ball and he hits it but not when the ball is played. Again, that was disappointing.

"We could have had a penalty when Freddy Eastwood was dragged down in the box. Again the referee is 10 yards away, but nothing.

"They were big decisions and I am bitterly disappointed with the referee."
