Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that there is no is no away day phobia.

City have only won one away league game since he took charge (Portsmouth last April) but the City boss feels that the players don’t have a phobia about playing away.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "Well, it is always a tough game at the Madejski and they have been able to get Jason Roberts in during the transfer window.

"A Premier League striker joining them will give them a major boost and will add some good firepower to their squad.

"It will be difficult and it will be a test for us, but that is just like every game in this league. Despite losing, we went to Blackpool and gave a really good account of ourselves so we have to build on that.

"There is no phobia surrounding our away results and we will prepare for this game like any other. I spoke to the lads about the last five minutes in matches and we aren't going to make any big deal about it.

"We aren't going to make an issue about it as it is in the past and it is important we move on. The weather has affected what we can do as the pitches aren't great. With these conditions, you have to be careful what you do and make sure we don't pick up any injuries."
