City Boss May Rest The Iceman

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman may rest midfielder Aron Gunnarsson for Saturday's game against Derby County.

The 19 year old has played a number of games lately, including two appearances as a substitute for Iceland and may be left out of the game at the Ricoh Arena but come back in to make the trip to Southampton on Tuesday October 28th.

Said Coleman to the CT: "Maybe I should have rested him agaisnt Burnley but he was desperate to play.

"I will see how Aron is on Saturday, but we haven't got any players who are good enough to play at 80 per cent.

"Whoever I field will have to be the fittest team, and they will have to be mentally prepared - certainly more prepared than we were in the second half against Burnley.

"Jay Tabb had a knock on his ribs and was struggling with his knee as well. He said he was getting worse and worse so we had to bring him off.
