City Boss Looking For Players On More Than One Year Deals

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray is looking for players who will have City contracts lasting longer than a year.

The City boss told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: "At this moment it’s exciting to try to put a team together again like we did last year and try to learn from last year a little bit as well.

“We will try to bring in more players who are our own and give more than one year deals to. I have talked long and hard about putting an infrastructure in place by laying foundations with Coventry City players who are ours for next year and maybe even the year after if we like them and invest in quality if we can.

“If we can sign players we will and then we have to look at the loan market again but try not to totally underpin the team with them if possible.”
