Both Coventry City manager Chris Coleman and keeper Keiren Westwood have slated the Football League decison which will make clubs play two matches in two days.

City travel to Swanea today before taking on Sheffield Wednesday at the Ricoh Arena on Sunday and Chris Coleman is not a happy man.

He told the CT: "The Boxing Day atmosphere is great but I don't know why we have to play two days later and I've got no idea who set these rules.

"The next game, you'll have loads of goals or loads of clean sheets because everybody is shattered and they don't want to cross the halfway-line. It makes it very difficult to prepare properly, so if you've got three games over ten or eleven days surely it should be spaced out better."

He was backed up by Keiren Westwood who said:""Whoever thinks of the fixtures had had one this year, giving us an away trip to Swansea. "We get paid to do it so we must accept it but what about the fans?

"They have to travel a couple of hours (three hours plus from Cov. ED) each way which is ridiculous when we could have had a local game and oerhaps got a bigger crowd."
