Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has declared himself to be over his virus and feeling AOK.

Speaking to the CT’s Andy Turner, Thorn who missed the 2-0 defeat at Leicester City due to a virus caused by a cold said: “It really hit me for six.

“It was a virus that sent my blood pressure through the roof but I feel a million times better.

"I’ve been moaning at the missus so I must be getting better!

“But I feel good now – AOK – and I can’t wait to get back in. The virus is going and I can’t wait to get back on the gallops again.

"I have got another test this morning to make sure everything’s all right.

“The last thing I wanted was being told I couldn’t take the team, especially given what we’re going through.

"You want to be there but hopefully I’ll be there tomorrow night when we’re looking to get going again.

“It’s an important period for us and we want to get out of it and I don’t want to miss a thing.”
