City Boss Fails To Get Postponement

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has failed in an attempt to get Sunday's League One game at Burton Albion postponed.

The Sky Blues have loanees Adam Armstrong on international duty with England U19's and Bryn Morris with England U20's with full contract player George Thomas away with Wales U19's and so Mowbray contacted the Football Association to try and get the game called off.

However, the FA informed the City boss that youth loans which Armstrong and Morris are both on, don't count towards the players required in order to get a match postponed and the game at the Pirelli Stadium goes ahead as scheduled with kick off at 2.30pm.
