Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he is backing Reice Charles-Cook after the keeper conceded two goals against Doncaster Rovers.
Many at the game thought that Charles-Cook should have done better with both goals and speaking about this to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, Mowbray said: “First and foremost I hope he took it hard,” he said. “But I’ve always said that young keepers will make mistakes and you have to keep faith with them – as long as they don’t do it every week, of course.
“It will have knocked him back for a while but he has to bounce back and I think he’s got the personalty for that because he’s a very confident boy – the life and soul.
“The secret is to do what he has done, get back on the training ground and work hard.”
