Coventry City are back to the 14th in the Championship table after the 2-0 home win against Sheffield Wednesday.

Wolves play Blackpool tomorrow but Reading and Birmingham City both failed to catch up any ground by drawing. Brum were held 0-0 at home by Swansea whilst Reading came from behind to draw 1-1 at Southampton.

That draw takes Southampton into the bottom three. Managerless Nottingham Forest won 3-2 at Norwich City and are now only two points behind the Canaries.

Bottom side Charlton lost 3-1 at Sheffield United whilst Doncaster are third bottom despite a 2-1 home win over Burnley.

Cardiff City beat Plymouth 1-0 with former Sky Blue Jay Bothroyd scoring the only goal of the game. Another former City player David McNamee was sent off in the third minute of stoppage time.
