Having Coventry City back at the Ricoh Arena is good for business.

There have been plenty of Coventry based businesses including the likes of taxi drivers who were less than happy when Tim Fisher shipped City off to Northampton, as their match day trade dried.

The news that the Sky Blues are back in town has been hailed by Sean Farnell, a board member of the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership who told the Coventry Telegraph: “Since the Ricoh Arena opened nine years ago, it has brought added profile to the region as a national and international centre for a wide range of events, ranging from sport and concerts to conferences and exhibitions.

“Coventry City’s return to the city is good news not only for supporters but for Coventry and Warwickshire as a whole.

"It will raise the profile of the region and provide a welcome boost to the economy.”
