City Appeal Over Dismissal

Coventry City have lodged an appeal about the dismissal of Michael Doyle against West Brom on Saturday.

The midfielder was sent off for a tackle which looked innocuous from what ever angle you viewed it and both managers described the dismissal by referee Mike Halsey in the 48th minute as harsh.
