Coventry City and Portsmouth supporters remembered the life of Gary Speed who died aged 42 last Sunday.
Both sets of supporters plus the match officials, players and everyone else inside Fratton Park gave Speed the send off he deserved with a tremendous minute's applause before the Portsmouth versus Coventry Championship game this afternoon.
At Premier League, Football League and FA Cup matches up and down the land, respects were paid to Gary Speed with some moving scenes being reported, especially at one of Speed's former club's Leeds United.
