Coventry City have recalled Cyrus Christie from a loan at Hinckley United following news that Richard Wood will be out for six weeks with a groin strain.
Wood, who has been solid all season no matter where he has played for the team, picked up the injury during Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Preston North End.
Andy Thorn told the CT:" He's gutted. He's been brilliant at centre half and we have to pull Cyrus Christie back from Hinckley.
