Coventry City defender Cyrus Christie has apologised for his error which led to Brentford's opening goal in a 2-0 defeat for the Sky Blues at Sixfields.
Christie allowed Clayton Donaldson in after failing to clear in the 20th minute and tweeted: "Poor mistake from me I'm better than that a lesson learned and have to move on but the better team deserved it today we didn't show up."
