Christie & Keane Score For Ireland

Former Coventry City defender Cyrus Christie scored for the Republic Of Ireland tonight in their European Championship qualifier against Gibraltar in Faro.

Coventry born Christie. on his competitive debut for Ireland, scored in the 26th minute with former City striker Robbie Keane scoring in the 49th minute and the 51st minute with a penalty, in a 4-0 victory watched by a crowd of 5.393.  

Former City loanee Oliver Norwood, played for Northern Ireland, managed by former City midfielder Michael O'Neill in their 3-1 win away to the Faroe Islands.

Former City loanee keeper Kasper Schmeichel played for Denmark in their 0-0 home draw against Albania. 

Scotland, managed by former City player and manager Gordon Strachan lost 1-0 in Georgia.
