Chinese Interest In The Sky Blues

Coventry City could have new Chinese investors. Gary Hoffman has been talking to a number of Chinese businessmen over the last year or so about possible investment in the Sky Blues and Independent Consultant Kim Grant has confirmed to the CT's Andy Turner that he has been speaking to parties interested in buying the football club and the half share of the Ricoh Arena.

Speaking to the CT's Andy Turner from Shanghai, Mr Grant said: “If successful it is anticipated that the investors, ultra net-wealth Chinese nationals, will wish to secure 100 per cent of the football club and 50 per cent of the Arena.

“If our determined efforts, which have been nobly supported by Gary Hoffman and Joe Elliott, conclude in success we have every reason to believe that this will represent a new dawn for the future of Coventry City Football Club.”
