CCFPA Fans Forum Tonight

Last updated : 29 March 2014 By CCFPA

In line with its policy to give the Sky Blue family in general a focus for their football loyalties at home in Coventry, the Coventry City Former Players Association is proud to announce an official event this Saturday .

Whether or not you will have been to Crewe earlier in the day to cheer on the 2014 Sky Blues (or followed their progress through the media in what will be a crucial search for points) why not come along later in the evening to enjoy and take part in a Q & A session with some of the Sky Blues (and Bantams) stars of the past in a convivial atmosphere with food and drink available?

The CCFPA session will be held at F.A.Cup hero Lloyd McGrath's place, Hawkesmill Sports and Social Club  on Saturday 29th March 2014, kick off 7pm.

Fun and fellowship is guaranteed as we expect the Former Players Panel will include (as well as Lloyd) such illustrious CCFC names of the past as Ron Farmer, Ian Goodwin, Dave Bennett, Micky Gynn, Dave Busst and Claus Bech Jorgensen. Several CCFPA committee members will also be present including m/c Billy Bell who is sure to keep everyone entertained and in good order. Look out too for some surprise guest appearances!

Everyone is welcome and their is open entry to the event (though we suggest a minimum £3 donation on the door to help with expenses and leave a small surplus for Association funds. The bar will be open and there is food available at a reasonable cost of £5 if you wish refreshments at the event.

We would love you to join us next Saturday to celebrate several decades of Sky Blues playing endeavour. The more the merrier!!  For more information contact Hawkes Mill Sports and Social Club, Hawkes Mill Lane, Allesley, Coventry CV5 7QW (02476 403700).
