Carry On Playing - Coleman

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has advised his players to carry on with their game and not worry about getting bookings.

Jay Tabb, Scott Dann and Isaac Osbourne are both on four bookings whilst Danny Fox will miss Saturday's home game against Nottingham Forest after being cautioned in the 20th minute of the draw against Swansea on Tuesday night.

"if they go and get a booking in the next game, they get it," said Chris Coleman to the CT.

"They can't go out thinking that they can't make a tackle or they can't be themselves because they will get a booking. They have to go out and just perform and play their normal game because if they go out with a different attitude then you generally don't get a performance.

"The booking is going to come eventually for all of them, because I am sure they won't last until the next deadline in March. So they are going to get a ban sooner or later but hopefully not in the same game.

"Judging by some of the refereeing performances this season, who knows what could happen in the next game.

"Maybe we could improve on some but the referees could improve as well.

"Take the Plymouth game for example, we had one of our players booked for nothing and then a bad tackle from one of their players and he got a telling off not a booking.

"I don't like to see anyone get booked but where is the consistency? And that is when you get frustrated.

"I look at all the bookings and some are warranted, of course but not all and you have to live with it."
