As expected, Coventry City have re-signed Carl Baker.
The midfielder has been training with the Sky Blues after his injury which ended his time in India and has agreed a short term dela with the club which will take him up to the end of the season.
Speaking to the media, City boss Mark Robins said about the deal which provides a welcome boost: “I’m very pleased to welcome Carl back to the club and delighted that he has regained general fitness and has shown through training with the first team that he can be an asset to us from now to the end of the season.
“He has shown and expressed a desire to return to Coventry City Football Club and help us achieve our season goals.
“It will be great for both parties as he is both a tremendous person and a great player to have around the club and a firm favourite amongst the supporters.”
